The diameter of 5 inch PVC pipe is equal to 12.7 cm. The size of PVC pipe is usually expressed in inches, and 1 inch is equal to 25.4 mm, so 5 inches converted to centimeters is 5×25.4=127 mm, that is, 12.7 cm. This pipe material is widely used on various occasions due to its diverse uses and excellent performance, including but not limited to indoor water supply systems of civil buildings and industrial buildings, residential areas, buried water supply systems in factory areas, urban water supply pipeline systems, water treatment plant processing pipeline systems, marine aquaculture, garden irrigation, well drilling projects, etc.
Puhui PVC Pipe production process
1. Raw material selection
2. Stirring and mixing
Put the selected PVC resin, auxiliary agent, etc. into a high-speed mixer according to a certain formula for stirring and mixing, so that various raw materials are evenly mixed to form plastic slurry
3. Extrusion molding
The evenly mixed plastic slurry is conveyed to the twin-screw extruder through the feeder. The extruder uses the rotation of the twin screws and the pressure between the screws to disperse, plasticize and melt the plastic slurry, and extrude the molten plastic to form the initial shape of the pipe.
4. Vacuum cooling
The pipe extruded by the extruder will be soaked in cooling water in the cooling water tank, and the vacuum system will be used to cool and solidify the pipe inside and outside to keep it in a stable shape and size
5. Traction and sizing
The cooled and solidified pipe will pass through the traction and sizing mechanism, and the traction roller and sizing die will be used to traction and sizing the pipe to meet the required size and shape requirements.
6. Cutting inspection
The traction and sizing pipe is cut by the cutting machine, and the necessary appearance quality and size inspection are carried out. Qualified pipes will be processed in the next step, and unqualified pipes need to be reworked or processed.
7. Pipes that have passed the quality inspection will be packaged, generally with plastic film to protect the surface of the pipe from damage. The packaged pipes will be stored and marked with information such as model, specification, and production date.
8. Unloading and loading
According to the order requirements, the packaged pipes will be unloaded and loaded, ready to be sent to the user. During the loading process, attention should be paid to the handling and loading of the pipes to prevent damage to the pipes.
9. Quality control
Throughout the production process, quality control is required to inspect and test raw materials, intermediate products, and final products to ensure that the quality of the products meets the standard requirements. Common inspection items include appearance inspection, dimensional measurement, mechanical properties testing, etc.
