Product Description

HDPE Electrofusion Stub End is a type of HDPE Electrofusion Fittings, mainly used for the connection of polyethylene (PE) pipes. The connection principle is to heat the copper wire inside the electrofusion flange through the current generated by the electric fusion welding machine. The heat generated melts the outer wall surface of the PE pipe, making the PE pipe and the electrofusion flange tightly combined.

HDPE Electrofusion Stub End Installation Method

  1. Prepare tools and materials: First, you need to prepare the required tools, such as an electric fusion welding machine, pipe cutting tool, scraper, marker, ruler, rubber hammer, fixing frame, rounding tool, etc.
  2. Cut the pipe: Use the pipe-cutting tool to cut the PE pipe into the required length, and ensure that both ends of the pipe are smooth, flat, and clean. ‌
  3. Electric fusion connection: Insert the spigot into the end of the PE pipe, use the electric fusion welding machine to heat the pipe and spigot, apply appropriate pressure, and heat-melt the pipe and spigot together. During this process, ensure that the moving gasket is properly installed in the spigot. ‌
  4. Connecting flange: Combine the matching bolts of the flange and spigot, and tighten the bolts with a wrench to ensure that the flange is safely connected to other pipes or equipment. ‌
  5. Cooling: Since the PE pipe joint can only reach its maximum compressive strength after it is completely cooled to room temperature, the connected parts must not be moved or external force must not be applied to the connection during the cooling period to ensure the quality of the welding.
