Product Description
Puhui PE Pipe significantly reduces the spread of flame in a fire. As a result of excellent localized surface charring properties, carbonaceous char forms on the product after being exposed to flames which effectively protects the pipe and its contents from ignition.
Our firefighting pipes and fittings are tested at each stage of production and undergo stringent quality control to comply with quality and international industry standards.
HDPE Red Stripe Fire Pipe Introduction
PE fire pipe is also called HDPE fire pipe. Because it is made of polyethylene, it is often used in the laying of outdoor fire pipe systems.
HDPE Red Stripe Fire Pipe is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as raw material and added with red pigment through a plastic extruder. It is particularly suitable for acid-resistant and corrosion-resistant environments. Since PE fire pipes use hot melt and electric fusion connection, the interface and pipe are integrated, and can effectively resist the hoop stress and axial impact stress generated by internal pressure; PE fire pipes are corrosion-resistant and do not require anti-corrosion treatment. They have a long service life and a minimum service life of 50 years.
Production process
- Raw material selection: The main raw material of HDPE pipe is high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is a hydrocarbon polymer with good corrosion resistance, environmental protection and recyclability, and a wide applicable temperature range. It can remain unbroken in an environment of -60°C, and the temperature of the conveying medium can reach 60°C. This material is widely used in the production of fire pipes due to its excellent physical properties.
- Extrusion molding: During the production process, the HDPE material is heated and melted by the extruder, and then extruded through the die. This step is the key to pipe molding. By controlling the speed and temperature of extrusion, the uniformity and consistency of the pipe can be guaranteed.
- Color addition: In order to produce an HDPE Red Stripe Fire Pipe, red pigment needs to be added to the HDPE material to ensure that the outer surface of the pipe is red. The color is chosen to improve the recognition of the fire pipe so that it can be quickly identified in an emergency.
- Stripe design: During the pipe molding process, red stripes can be formed on the pipe through a specific mold design. These stripes not only increase the visual effect of the pipe, making it easier to notice but also help to quickly locate and identify it in an emergency. In addition to red stripes, the commonly used HDPE fire pipe also has an HDPE Blue Stripe Fire Pipe.
- Quality inspection: After production is completed, strict quality inspection is also required, including size measurement, pressure testing, etc., to ensure that the pipe meets relevant standards and safety requirements.
