Working principle of PVC Ball Valve

The working principle of the PVC Ball Valve is to control the switch of fluid through the piston or ball inside the valve body. When the valve is closed, the piston or ball will block the passage of the fluid, thereby cutting off the fluid; when the valve is open, the piston or ball will align with the channel, allowing the fluid to flow freely.

PVC Ball Valve usually consists of components such as valve body, piston or ball, valve stem and valve seat. The valve body is the main part of the valve, usually with a straight-through or angle-through design, and the fluid flows through the channel in the valve body.

The piston or ball is a key component of the valve. Depending on the specific design, it can be a cylindrical wooden plug or a spherical ball.

The valve stem is the part that connects the piston or ball to the operating mechanism (such as a handle or electric device), and the up and down movement of the valve stem controls the opening and closing of the piston or ball.

The valve seat is located at both ends of the channel inside the valve body, providing a sealed cushion layer to close the gap between the piston or ball and the valve body to prevent fluid leakage.

When the valve needs to be closed or opened, the operating mechanism will move the piston or ball up and down through the valve stem. When the valve is closed, the piston or ball fits perfectly with the valve seat to form a sealed channel; when the valve is opened, the piston or ball separates from the valve seat, allowing the fluid to flow through the channel. PVC Ball Valve is suitable for low-pressure and medium-temperature fluid control, such as water, sewage, chemicals, etc.
