Socket Fusion 45 degree Elbow, as a socket fusion fitting, is mainly used in pipeline systems. Its function is to achieve the turning of the pipeline by changing the direction of the pipeline. The design angle of this elbow is 45 degrees, which makes it possible to adjust the direction of the pipeline more flexibly in the pipeline layout to meet specific layout requirements.
Socket Fusion Fittings is an industry reference for high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic fittings used to permanently join two or more segments of HDPE plastic pipe through a process known as heat fusion or socket fusion welding. This method of joining pipe and fitting involves a heater tool that evenly warms the plastic pipe and fitting simultaneously to a melt point where the two can be joined by insertion of the melted pipe into the socket of the melted fitting. Once inserted properly and allowed to cool, the two parts become one continuous bond of HDPE plastic that cannot be separated and form a connection stronger than its individual parts.
Socket welding connection method
PE socket welding is a pipeline connection method, which is mainly suitable for pipes with relatively small diameters. This connection method uses socket fittings, where the inner diameter of the fitting is equal to the outer diameter of the pipe. The principle of socket welding is to insert the pipe into the fusion joint of the fitting and then weld it to form a connection. This connection method is suitable for small-diameter pipes below DN110.
