Product Description
WRAS certified HDPE pressure pipe for water is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe certified by WRAS in the UK, specially used in water supply systems. This pipe has the following characteristics:
1. Material characteristics: HDPE pipe is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which has good impact resistance and low-temperature resistance, and can maintain its performance at room temperature or even at low temperatures of -40°F.
2. Certification standards: WRAS certification is a certification for drinking water safety managed and issued by the British Water Center WRc-nsf. It ensures that the product complies with the UK’s water fittings regulations, including the design, installation and maintenance requirements of sanitary systems, water fittings and water-using equipment, and aims to ensure that products that come into contact with water will not waste, abuse, over-consume or pollute water sources.
3. Scope of application: WRAS certification applies to various water supply equipment, including but not limited to valves, pumps, water tanks, faucets, etc. These products must pass mechanical and water quality tests to ensure that they meet the requirements of water supply regulations and regulations and ensure the appropriate quality and standards of water supply.
4. Application areas: HDPE pipes are a substitute for traditional steel pipes and polyvinyl chloride drinking water pipes, and are particularly suitable for water supply systems that need to withstand a certain pressure. High molecular weight HDPE resin is selected because it has good mechanical properties and pressure resistance, while low-density polyethylene (LDPE) is not suitable as a material for water pressure pipes due to low tensile strength, pressure resistance difference, and poor rigidity.
